From 22 to 25 May Florence will host the fourth edition of the Japanese Film Festival. “NIHON NO TE – Unknown stories from contemporary Japan” is the title of this forth edition which aims to show the many different aspects of contemporary Japanese world and culture. A section of the event will be dedicated to the disaster of Fukushima: from 23 to 25 May four documentaries will witness the tragedy that the inhabitants are still suffering (free entrance). The festival will also involve Japanese food with the presence of the Japanese cook Takahashi preparing delicious dishes and a stand selling typical Japanese products. The Japanese Film Festival will take place at the Odeon Cinema located in Piazza Strozzi, Florence.
