Florence by night & a Night at the Museum

FLORENCE BY NIGHT. Some evenings ago I was walking in town at sunset and I thought that I would really like to be on a guided tour with one of my guests at that time of the day when there are less people in the streets and the warm orange light covers every single ashlar work in Florence. This is why I have found out for you all the appointments with art by night in my wonderful town. All begins in July when every twesday it is possible to visit Uffizi and Accademia Gallery till 10 pm. Our beautyfull Baptistery now famous more than ever thanks to Dan Brown’s Inferno opens every thursday, friday, saturday till 11pm, furthermore with the same ticket you can visit Brunelleschi’s Dome, Giotto’s Belltower, Cathedral Museum or the Crypt. Maybe not all of you know that Gucci Museum and café are open every Friday til 11 pm and please, keep on reading, because if you are coming to Florence during the fall-winter season, here I have something special for you, an event called One Night At The Museum. It involves Uffizi, Accademia Gallery and Medici Chapels, it is planned on September 28th, October 26th, November 30th, December 28th. If you are visiting Florence during next months, reserve your tickets now, I can help you making it for free. Add a guided tour with ‘aperitivo’ to your nocturnal walk into a museum or reserve a Florence by night tour starting late in the afternoon when a new Florence atmosphere is emerging from summer days.
