My favourite fair is back! Actually this is not a fair only , but a large exibition and a market as well! Since 1931 the Fortezza Da Basso hosts this huge international handicraft fair: clothing and accessories, furnishing and furnishing accessories, jewellery, silverware, collectibles and gifts, wine & food. If you like handicraft, don’t miss this fair: it ‘s an opportunity to see gathered here the best products from all around the world and to plunge into the atmosphere of the countries. Tuscan and Italian products as well as objects/food coming from the 5 continents: from the precious jewels from India to the Northern African sweets, from objects handmade in Australia to Chinese fabrics!
Every year a country is chosen as the protagonist of the fair and this time it’s the turn of Thailand that will have 500 square metres at its disposal; visitors will also have the possibility to eat at the many stands of the fair, tasting specialties from all around the world with a special focus this year on chocolate and beer, and then workshops, exibitions on ceramic and painting, a space dedicated to Tibet and many other events!
The International Handicraft Fair is waiting for you every day from 10 am to 11 pm (last day, 29 April, until 8 pm), just wear comfortable shoes to cover the large spaces of it!!!
