If you are visiting Florence on 8th and 9th April, take a stroll ouside Porta Romana following the ancient Via Senese and at number 68 you will find Villa Romana, an elegant neoclassical villa that the German painter Max Klinger turned into a meeting place for many artists at the beginning of the XXth century. Now this glamourous place has been chosen for the second time by Mid Firenze (an association funded by four resourceful ladies) as a special setting for a Vintage Fashion, Art and Charity event: you will have the chance to buy vintage clothing and jewels as well as home decorations and at the same time you will help an aid association, Oxfam Italia, that has been working for thirty years against social injustice and poverty around the world.
Art will be present with a special exhibit of painting, sculpture, photography and performances focused on flowers, fruits and vegetables…..Bring your kids! They will enjoy themselves taking special yoga and dance lessons! Adults will be able to create their own made parfums in a temporary parfums workshop while hair dressers and make up artists will be at your disposal to change your style!
The fair is open on Saturday from 10 am to 10 pm and on Sunday from 10 am to 9 pm, the entrance is completely free!
